In the light of International Women’s Day I'm very proud to share "There I Go Rising", a short film/lyrical piece directed by Meagan McAteer and Samy Inayeh, shot by Samy Inayeh and produced by Habibi Films. The film features some extraordinary women and girls in Toronto, set to Maya Angelou's beautiful words.
This film started out as a test for the new Canon C700 camera, and evolved into a very meaningful project for us. We wish to thank the wonderful women featured who were kind and generous enough to donate their time. And also extend this thanks to our exceptional crew and vendors. This film could not be possible without each and every one of yours participation.
